Fête du Vin de Bellet — a 3-day weekend in Provence

18–24 November 2026. Nice, France. 40 min from the airport.

The weekend, day by day

  1. Day 1

    Arrive in Nice

Land at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), settle in and walk the old town in the afternoon. Light dinner near your accommodation — save your appetite for the festival day.

  2. Day 2

    Fête du Vin de Bellet

Festival day — arrive early to avoid the lunchtime crowd. Insider tip: Bellet's 80 hectares produce only 3,000 cases annually—this free festival is genuinely your only chance to taste these wines together. Seek out Château de Crémat's white Rolle and Braquet red; both are impossible to find outside Nice, and the winemakers often pour personally. Arrive by mid-morning before locals exhaust the rare bottles.

  3. Day 3

    Wine country day in Provence

Use the third day for a single winery visit (booked ahead) and a long lunch at one of the regional addresses below before heading home.

Where to stay

Three angles for the festival window. Festival hotels book out 6+ months in advance — apartments are the contingency when the main shortlist is sold out.

Booking.com links — we may earn a commission. We never recommend hotels we wouldn't use ourselves.

One winery worth a detour

Château Simone

Virtually the entire Palette appellation in one estate, making some of Provence's most serious and age-worthy wines far from the rosé clichés.
