Hermann Maifest
Hermann's spring counterpart to Oktoberfest, Maifest is a one-day celebration of German heritage and the new vintage season held each May in the historic Missouri River wine town. The Maifest Market on Main Street features local artists, craftspeople, live German music, dancing, and seasonal food, with Hermann's wineries open for tasting throughout the day. It is a gentler, more local celebration than Oktoberfest — ideal for those who want the Hermann experience without the October crowds.
