Pezinok Wine Festival — Malokarpatský Region

The highlight of the Slovak wine calendar: a three-day September harvest festival in Pezinok, gateway to the Small Carpathian wine region, where local producers present their wines in the medieval town centre. The Small Carpathian Wine Route — one of Europe's oldest — passes through Pezinok, Modra, and Svätý Jur, producing Welschriesling, Grüner Veltliner, and Blaufränkisch in a landscape reminiscent of Burgundy.
