Beaux Freres

Willamette Valley, United States

About

Co-founded by wine critic Robert Parker and his brother-in-law Michael Etzel in 1990, Beaux Freres farms 88 acres on a single contiguous block in the Ribbon Ridge AVA. The estate is certified biodynamic and produces a small range of single-vineyard Pinot Noirs with tremendous concentration and earthy complexity. Despite the famous co-founder, the winery keeps a low profile and visitor numbers deliberately small.

Why It's a Hidden Gem

A biodynamic estate on a single Ribbon Ridge block producing some of Oregon's most concentrated Pinot Noirs — intimate visits and small-batch allocations.
