Domaine Gramenon
About
Philippe Laurent founded this biodynamic domaine in the village of Montbrison-sur-Lez in the 1990s, producing Grenache and Syrah from old vines in the southern Côtes du Rhône with minimal intervention. After Philippe's death, his wife Michèle and son Maxime have continued the approach: no chemicals, no fining, no filtration, native yeasts. The wines are joyful and alive in a way that most Rhône production is not — sought out by natural wine lovers across Europe and Japan.
Why It's a Hidden Gem
A founding name in French natural wine, operating in an appellation (Côtes du Rhône) most wine tourists skip entirely in favour of Châteauneuf and Gigondas.
